What do I do if my Wand stops scanning properly or consistently?
>A. Start by placing the wand in your downloader/charger and press the button. Make sure the transmit light comes on. Leave it charging overnight. If this doesn't work, your wand may be getting old. Call Quick Notes and speak to our technical support staff.

What does it mean if my Wand makes funny beeps?
>A. The wand is probably getting old and beginning to act unusual. You might need to reprogram your wand. if that doesn't work, then call Quick Notes and speak to our technical support staff.

How do I reprogram my Wand?
>A. Please Note: This will erase any notes on your Wand! First press the Wand button, and while holding it in, place a pin in the hole, pull it out, and the Wand should beep 3x. Then release the button. Now put Wand in the Downloader. Go to Q'Runner, click on "Setup" and click on "Reindex". Choose the appropriate wand and click the "Reprogram Wand" button. Then press the button on the Wand.

I scanned many notes, but after downloading, they were not there.
>A. The wand is probably getting old, and may need to be replaced. Also check your connection between the downloader and your computer. To avoid losing notes, you should call the Quick Notes technical support staff.

How long should a typical Wand last before it needs to be replaced?
>A. On average a wand should last 12-18 months, although some may last only 8-12 months. If your wand is getting old, you can call the Quick Notes sales department, and inquire about purchasing a replacement wand.

Can I order an additional Wand and Charger for an additional user?
>A. it is recommended that each fulltime user of Q'Notes should have their own wand. The typical cost of a wand and add-on module is around $350.00.

How can I order additional Wall Charts or ChartBooks?
>A. Wall Charts are available for Chiropractic, Podiatry and Physical Therapy. ChartBooks are available for Podiatry, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Rehab, Family Practice and Dermatology. Call Quick Notes or contact through this website for pricing, as well as information on Custom projects.

Are there any additional blank Barcode Charts available?
>A. Blank barcode pages are available for you to customize with additional verbiage. Typically these pages are 8.5"x11" and set-up with 13 rows each with 6 barcodes. Call Quick Notes for pricing and availability.
